This article is meant to be fun while supporting local businesses. You’ve likely heard “enjoy all things in moderation” and that goes for wine too. Clearly, we are not promoting the consumption of alcohol in excess.

If you’re searching for ways to enjoy the Kansas City area during a stay-cation, celebration or date night, we’ve compiled a list of eight local wineries and 8 Health Benefits of Drinking Wine.

Belvoir WineryBelvoir Winery – Liberty

Jowler Creek uses green technology, such as solar power, to make its wine. You might also see sheep to control weeds and chickens to reduce insects on the 6-acre sustainable vineyard.
